WholeWay began with something I watched happen close to home.
My brother completed a yearlong recovery program and then spent several years on staff. Inside that community, he was doing well. He had structure, purpose, and people around him. When he finally stepped away to pursue ventures of his own, things began to unravel. The weeks and months that followed brought some of the worst choices of his life.
Over time, I saw versions of that story repeat. People could thrive inside a strong program, yet struggle when it was time to carry that progress into work, ownership, family, and an independent life.
"Recovery can help someone leave an old life. WholeWay is about helping them build the next one."
